Art Exhibition Preview: Docks, Mountains and the Sea by Sue Thornton

 Upper gallery exhibition until the end of February. Come meet the artist at the globe, showing wild and quirky landscapes not to be missed! In her own words:

 "Wild and quirky landscape - ports or harbours - are a source of constant inspiration. Working outside gives me the opportunity to respond to the constantly changing light conditions, using a fast, reactive style. I use mixed media, pastels and acrylics mainly, to obtain an instant rapport with the changing scene."

The globe at hay: Arts and Events Volunteers

We are looking for individuals to assist the events team in programming, organising and promoting arts events at the Globe at Hay. With a monthly programme of art exhibitions, talks, workshops and live music as well as a number of larger-scale festivals which attract thousands of visitors, there is scope for somebody to gain valuable event organising experience.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has an interest in the arts or events.
