Caroline Hands
Meeting Ways, Falling Blossom, a collection of Caroline Hands’ work. Caroline's work is about change and movement. For her, it is about what is seen, felt and resonates.
Her aim is for the work to have a rhythm, dance, and breath of its own and for it to make its own journey. Her work is informed by travel: Caroline has traveled widely in China and South-East Asia, where the experience is her informer, a reminder of keeping alert, in which her eyes and heart are everywhere. Passing experiences: a monk in rice fields, intense colours form memorable images.
After exhibiting in 798 Space Beijing amongst other galleries, The Globe are proud to be showcasing Caroline’s work.
The globe at hay: Arts and Events Volunteers
We are looking for individuals to assist the events team in programming, organising and promoting arts events at the Globe at Hay. With a monthly programme of art exhibitions, talks, workshops and live music as well as a number of larger-scale festivals which attract thousands of visitors, there is scope for somebody to gain valuable event organising experience.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who has an interest in the arts or events.
