Hay Fayre is a unique weekly event coming to Hay-on-Wye this Summer

Starting on 21st July, Hay Fayre runs every Saturday from March until the end of September.

Situated at the globe, Hay Fayre combines a boutique country market with live acoustic music, talks, workshops, buskers, art and debate. It is both a melting pot and showcase of talent, fresh produce, craft and ideas.

The Market

Hay Fayre market is a collaboration of carefully selected boutique suppliers. We have award winning local growers and farmers as well as those from further afield. In addition to delicious foods, you can expect to find clothes from emerging designers, wines you will not find anywhere else, handmade toys and a vast array of artisan craftsmen.

What's On

In addition to the market, Hay Fayre also promotes local talent. Throughout the day there is live music playing in the acoustic tent by up and coming perfomers, singers and bands - all fee of charge.

If music's not your thing, each week inside the globe we have talks and debate covering topical issues, wild stories of adventure and thought provoking ideas.

Kids

We realise the importance of keeping the little ones entertained. Inside the globe there are workshops for kids from Didgeridoo playing to breakdancing. In addition to the workshops, we show 2 free kids films.

Food

The globe kitchen is a beautiful circular tent, draped with linen and decorated with Moroccan lanterns, wild flowers and candles. Each week at Hay Fayre the globe kitchen will be offering a delicous selection of bold flavoured dishes created entirely from the fantastic produce available on our doorstep.

To compliment the local salads and vegetables, we are serving local organic meats from our huge open charcoal barbeque.
