Hay On Wye’s newest BAND (so NEW they still don’t have a name!) are playing at the Globe this Saturday. Indie rock project of the singer-songwriter Jakey Boy Hughes - this trio features Antoine (moon goose) on drums and Alfi Cadilac on bass. Playing upbeat, danceable indie tunes, in the vein of 2000s bands such as the kooks and the arctic monkeys- their first gig 2 weeks ago also saw comparisons made to classic melodic bands such as the Strokes, early Cure and Television. Come down to see them rock their third gig & support Hay’s new indie trio. The Globe will be open all day with the burger restaurant menu available but the band will start promptly at 8pm to allow families to enjoy!
